As a wife, mom of four adult children and an interior designer, I have a deep love of genuine connections and making experiences to last a lifetime. I am passionate about all things related to design, especially the details of entertaining.

In 1996, my husband and I purchased 80 acres of farmland covered in pheasants and corn. We planted walnut trees, built a home and once our kids were adults, decided to build a barn. I designed the barn to have the look and feel of being a century old, with details that are elevated yet understated, where people felt welcomed, safe and loved from the moment they entered the barn.

Meet Liane 

A lifelong resident of Chico, Madison has deep roots in the community. Her personal experience planning her own wedding (at The Barn) in the spring of 2022, inspired her to pursue a career in the wedding industry. Madison is a dedicated event planner with a strong background in client relations and a love for creating memorable wedding experiences. 

Madison is passionate about creating unforgettable wedding experiences, tailored to each couple’s vision.

Whether it’s an intimate ceremony or a large celebration, her goal is to ensure that every detail is handled with care so couples can focus on what truly matters — celebrating their love.

The Barn was designed to be endlessly customizable with its neutral palette and open concept. It is the perfect blank canvas on which you can reflect your style.

While The Barn was built in 2020, it has the look and feel of a structure that has seen a hundred years of history.
